Building a new foundation with PostgreSQL

The roadmap for CloudM Migrate includes significant improvements to its performance and reporting capabilities. To enable these updates, we have replaced Microsoft SQL Server Express with PostgreSQL as our new database.

It’s the perfect choice to ensure Migrate remains the leading solution for your next cloud data migration: PostgreSQL represents a more scalable and overall advanced foundation for our migration tool.

Are you currently using CloudM Migrate?

  • If you’re in the middle of a migration, please consult the Migrate 4.4 Upgrade Path documentation to find out more about upgrading to the latest version.
  • If you’re looking to use Migrate Self-Hosted, please refer to the Installation Options for guidance on installing self-hosted Migrate with PostgreSQL.

Document mapping now available for Migrate Hosted

Hosted users, rejoice! Document mappings are now available for Migrate Hosted, simplifying the validation process for document migrations.

You’ll be provided with a detailed CSV report post-migration, outlining the source and destination URLs for each migrated document. This allows you to easily verify migrated files and share the report with end-users for confirmation. Read the Record Document Mappings article for more information.
