Anti-slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Modern Slavery is the severe exploitation of other people for personal or commercial gain. There are many forms of modern slavery, the most common are; human trafficking, forced labour, bonded labour and slavery of children. These types of modern slavery are global issues in society that can appear in all types of industries and sectors.

Cloud Technology Solutions Ltd trading as CloudM has a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. This statement sets out Cloud Technology Solutions Ltd trading as Cloudm actions to understand all potential modern slavery risks in relation to its business and puts in place steps aimed at ensuring that there are no slavery or human trafficking in its business and supply chain.

This statement relates to actions and activities during the period January 2022 to present and is made in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

OUR BUSINESS

Cloud Technology Solutions Ltd trading as CloudM is the largest dedicated Google Cloud practice in Europe and one of the world’s leading cloud transformation experts. A unique full stack Google Cloud solution for businesses, encompassing cloud migration (www.cloudm.io), transformative working and IT infrastructure through to machine learning, data science and app development. We have been helping Customers with Google’s leading cloud products for over 10 years and have taken over 50 million users to the cloud. Employing more than 200 people in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Maarssen, as well as across its globally remote workforce.

OUR POLICIES

Cloud Technology Solutions strives to act ethically and with integrity and is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery and human trafficking in any part of its business or supply chain. The anti-slavery policy reflects our commitment as a business to acting ethically and with integrity in its business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective controls to reduce the risk and ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking does not take place.

TRAINING AND AWARENESS

Here at Cloud Technology Solutions, we understand that modern slavery is not static and therefore we are committed to ensuring the continual monitoring and risk control within the business. We have a compliance team whose responsibility it is to monitor this, and we ensure that they have a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking within a business.

As an organisation we give staff the level of understanding required about modern slavery and human trafficking. We encourage all of our employees and contractors to report any concerns they have about slavery and/or human trafficking affecting the business.

SUPPLIER MAPPING AND RISK ASSESSMENT

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we have mapped out our supply chain. This has allowed us to identify and assess potential risk areas, and will allow us to monitor the risk going forward.

PREVENTION OF MODERN SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Cloud Technology Solutions Ltd trading as CloudM regularly reviews the training, awareness and policies to ensure that there is no human modern slavery or human trafficking in its supply chains.

If any employees are concerned or suspicious around certain activities within the organisation or the supply chain we urge them to report this to a Director immediately. Any reports made regarding any suspicions or concerns will be taken seriously and thoroughly investigated.

This statement is made in accordance with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Cloud Technology Solution Ltd’s Modern Slavery statement for the current financial year.
