Anti-slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

v1 26 April 2024

Modern Slavery is the severe exploitation of other people for personal or commercial gain. There are many forms of modern slavery, the most common being human trafficking, forced labour, bonded labour and slavery of children. These types of modern slavery are global issues in society that can appear in all types of industries and sectors.

CloudM Software Limited (CloudM) has a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. This statement sets out CloudM’s actions to understand all potential modern slavery risks in relation to its business, and the steps we have put in place to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains.

Our business

CloudM is a leading cloud migration and data management software provider, empowering IT teams to migrate, archive and backup data through frictionless, secure and automated products. As part of the CTS group of companies, we have been helping customers migrate and manage their data in the cloud for over 10 years.

Our policies

CloudM strives to act ethically and with integrity and is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery and human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain. The anti-slavery policy reflects our commitment as a business to acting ethically and with integrity in our business relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective controls to reduce the risk and ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking does not take place.

In addition, we have the below policies in place to monitor and reduce the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking;

  • Slavery and human trafficking statement
  • Anti-bribery and corruption policy
  • Whistleblowing policy

Training and awareness

Here at CloudM, we understand that modern slavery is not static and therefore we are committed to ensuring the continual monitoring of risks within our business and supply chain. We have a compliance team whose responsibility it is to monitor this, and we ensure that they have a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking within the business.

As an organisation, we ensure that our staff understands how to recognise the signs of modern slavery and human trafficking, and we encourage all of our employees and contractors to report any concerns they may have in that respect.

Supplier mapping and risk assessment

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we have mapped out our supply chain. This has allowed us to identify and assess potential risk areas, and will allow us to monitor the risk going forward.

Prevention of modern slavery and human trafficking

CloudM regularly reviews the training and policies in place to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains.

If any employee is concerned or suspicious around certain activities within the organisation or the supply chain, we urge them to report this to a Director immediately. Any reports made regarding any suspicions or concerns will be taken seriously and thoroughly investigated.
