CloudM launches a cloud storage solution designed to help businesses avoid unnecessary expenditure by controlling license costs and protecting their data.

The beginning of the journey

2008

The beginning of the journey

Cloud Technology Solutions is born in Manchester, UK after being approached by Google to migrate the Economist magazine from GroupWise to Google.

'The Tool'

2009

'The Tool'

‘The Tool’ that would later become CloudMigrator, is officially released, performing only GroupWise to Google migrations.

Managed Migrations

The company starts to offer Managed Migrations to customers and partners.

More source platforms

2011

More source platforms

Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes are added as source platforms to ‘The Tool’. Now at seven employees, the company moves into bigger premises in Manchester, UK.

CloudMigrator is launched

2012

CloudMigrator is launched

James Doggart joins as CEO and "The Tool" is branded as CloudMigrator, hitting one million users migrated. Office 365 is added as a destination and becomes its own product, CloudMigrator365.

CloudPages is launched

2013

CloudPages is launched

CloudPages (CloudManager) is launched as a G Suite domain management product. CloudMigrator has more source platforms added and hits 100 Google partners worldwide.

CloudMigrator is now even faster

2014

CloudMigrator is now even faster

CloudMigrator is released as a multi-server product meaning extra servers can easily be scaled up to increase migration speeds.

Version 3.0 of CloudMigrator

2015

Version 3.0 of CloudMigrator

Version 3.0 of CloudMigrator is released with a web frontend. CloudPages reaches one million users. Now at thirty employees, the company wins a place in the UK Northern Tech Awards Top 100 for the first time.

Expansion and more awards

Offices in Belfast and Edinburgh are opened in the UK. The company appears in the Times Top 100 and Deloitte Top 50 Tech Awards. CloudMigrator365 hits 100 Microsoft partners worldwide.

CloudMigrator Go is released

2017

CloudMigrator Go is released

CloudMigrator Go the SaaS version of CloudMigrator is released. CloudMigrator and CloudManager hit over 10 million users worldwide. The company reaches 80 employees and moves into brand new offices in Manchester, UK.

CloudM is launched

2018

CloudM is launched

CloudM is launched. Our CloudMigrator and CloudMigrator365 products are brought together as CloudMigrator. Our G Suite management product CloudPages is rebranded to CloudManager.

CloudManager for Microsoft is launched

2019

CloudManager for Microsoft is launched

CloudManager for Microsoft is launched. Now available for both Office 365 and G Suite, CloudManager allows you to make IT admin more efficient and your workforce more productive with our extensive features and automated tools.

50 million migrations to the cloud

Since its inception in 2009, CloudM successfully hits the milestone of performing over 50 million migrations to Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
