The Organization

JCD Valdichiana Cortonese is a non-profit Italian association, whose members have one thing in common: a love of football. Made up of Juventus F.C. supporters, the organization was founded in 1976 by just 27 people; now it boasts 980 members with headquarters based in Tuscany, Italy. Every weekend buses full of supporters visit stadiums across the country, whilst others congregate at HQ to watch the game. Such is their commitment that JCD was honored with the title of “DOC” Juventus Club by Juventus F.C.

The Project

We met with Lorenzo Caloni, Communications and IT manager for JCD, to discuss their CloudM project.

Having had previous experience with G Suite, Lorenzo knew when he became a member of JCD, he would take full advantage of the Google Workspace non-profit program. In his opinion, “Google Workspace is the best and easiest way to communicate with and work as a team”.

The Process

He introduced CloudM to the organization one year ago as, like many customers, a significant increase in members meant he needed functions which Google Workspace couldn’t offer; central customization and the need to swiftly share new member and staff information. As well as this, he wanted to communicate and promote content within specific groups, for example, with members who came out to watch the match that weekend. These limitations are common and a happen daily within organizations around the world, but he needed an answer.

The Result

Google Workspace contact sharing and smart groups are key features to CloudM, which supplements and supports the shortcoming of Google Workspace; allowing admin to access the full power of the cloud.

Before exploring CloudM, JCD experimented with other software, but none offered the same intuitive and complete solution. Ultimately Lorenzo’s target was to simplify their organizational processes, something the power of CloudM has made possible.
